Cheesewring, brown
Cheesewring, brown
A local granite tor known as the Cheesewring is the inspiration for this woven textile art piece. Drawings were made in situ on the eastern side of Bodmin Moor on a blustery summer’s day. Textures of the rock form the background of this design and the loose lines represent the boulders of this monumental natural structure, which stands over nine metres high.
This tapestry-style artwork is hand-woven in linen, silk, hemp, wool and cotton and is easy to hang on your wall. A fine rod can be fed through a tube in the top of the piece and this can be supported on two wall tacks. (Please note rod and tacks not included).
The artwork measures approximately 52.5cm wide by 39cm long.
