This experiment in colour, carefully woven by hand over several months, only touches on the infinite possibilities of combining coloured threads on the loom. There are 832 coloured blocks and 10 shuttles were used each holding bobbins with multiple strands of yarn. Many of the threads used in this piece are left over from industrial projects and no new yarn was bought for this project. Fibres include matt cotton, lustrous silk, rayon and shiny polyester.
The artwork measures 72cm wide by 130cm long and is hung by means of a rod inserted into a tube at the top.
