Now in the Crafts Council Directory

I am very pleased to announce my application for inclusion in the prestigious Crafts Council Directory has been accepted.

The Crafts Council’s goal is to support makers and inspire audiences, championing UK craft. Its Directory features high-quality craft makers from a wide range of disciplines including ceramics, glass, automata, millinery, furniture and textiles.

The searchable directory gives UK makers a chance to showcase a number of projects and I’ve chosen to share examples of what I consider to be the main areas at the heart of my practice; original artworks featuring creatures, those featuring landscapes and the luxury ponchos. It gives a taster to people and I hope will encourage them to visit my website.

While I enjoy time spent in the studio weaving the designs of others, my aim is to be commissioned to produce my own hand-woven designs for people more of the time – and to sell my own too of course! The Crafts Council website makes for enjoyable browsing (craftscouncil.org.uk) and there’s a chance to ‘like’ and ‘follow’ your favourite makers… hint, hint. (I seem to only be able to do this from a laptop, not my phone). Any feedback on my entry would be gratefully received as usual friends.

Many thanks and greetings from Cornwall this August!
