Trevethy Quoit, October

Trevethy Quoit, October

Inspired by this local monument, an impressive Neolithic burial chamber which stands 2.7m high, this piece of contemporary woven textile art is created from original drawings made in situ.

It is hand-woven on a digital jacquard loom in a variety of carefully chosen yarns; linen, cotton, rayon, silk and tactel.

This picture is easy to hang - there is a fine white metal rod, which feeds through a tube in the top of the piece and this can be supported on two wall tacks.

The artwork measures approximately 53cm wide by 40.5cm long.
