Rough Tor, May

Rough Tor, May

Original drawings were made up on one of the highest points of Bodmin Moor, at 390m, on a fresh February day.  The background textures come from the rocks of the tor itself and the loose drawn lines represent the outlines of these solid granite boulders.

This artwork hanging is hand-woven in linen, silk, rayon floss, lurex and cotton, giving a gold lustre and hint of sparkle.  The piece measures approximately 69cm wide by 46cm long.

All these pieces are easy to hang on your wall.  They have a tube in the top of the piece and come with a white metal rod, which feeds through this tube.  This can then be supported by two wall tacks.
